I decided to go to the Wilmette Post Office for the New Deal project. In the post office, there is a mural. This mural was completed in 1938 by the treasury section of fine arts funds. I assume this was created under the FRA- Federal Art Project, which was apart of the New Deal to create visual arts in the U.S.A. The New Deal was used here to create this mural called "In the soil is our wealth" for the public. There were other New Deal projects that helped create railroads, schools, bridges, etc.

New Deal Selfie
